Associate, Capital Solutions

Responsibilities

• Assist with marketing, structuring, negotiating, and closing secured and unsecured loans used to finance equity and debt investments
• Prepare financing request packages, including updating Argus and property underwriting for potential lenders
• Summarize and analyze financing quotes and conduct capital market research
• Work with title companies, attorneys, and lenders to complete required due diligence for loan closings
• Implement and monitor interest rate hedges, including swaps and caps, and maintain regulatory compliance
• Calculate, monitor, and report in-place and projected financial covenants for corporate and secured financings
• Partner with Portfolio Management and F&A teams on forecasting, treasury management, and cash activity reporting
• Manage loan draw requests and line of credit borrowings/repayments based on cash needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred
• 3 to 5 years of experience in real estate debt capital markets, specifically in origination, underwriting, or loan structuring
• Proficiency in Argus, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Proficiency in using AI tools for automation purposes
• Strong written and communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Argus certification
• Experience with legal documentation, securitization, or rating agency methodology
