About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist Global Category Managers in developing annual strategic procurement visions for various MRO subcategories
  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage agreements for the procurement of materials and services
  • Create and issue small and minor service contracts and orders for operations
  • Place, monitor, and expedite orders for cost and capital turnaround projects
  • Support the development of Statement of Work (SOW), RFI, and RFP processes
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, service, cost, and capability
  • Assist in setting up SLAs, KPI tracking, and corrective measures to ensure supplier performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, management information systems, or engineering, or 5 years of relevant work experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in MRO category expertise or technical skills
  • Proven experience working in an industrial environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Power BI, with advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Strong communication, planning, listening, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to make sound commercial decisions under pressure using evidence and judgment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience specifically managing the MRO category
  • Knowledge of SAP and Ariba
