About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist Global Category Managers in developing annual strategic procurement visions for various MRO subcategories
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage agreements for the procurement of materials and services
- Create and issue small and minor service contracts and orders for operations
- Place, monitor, and expedite orders for cost and capital turnaround projects
- Support the development of Statement of Work (SOW), RFI, and RFP processes
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, service, cost, and capability
- Assist in setting up SLAs, KPI tracking, and corrective measures to ensure supplier performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business, management information systems, or engineering, or 5 years of relevant work experience
- 1-3 years of experience in MRO category expertise or technical skills
- Proven experience working in an industrial environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Power BI, with advanced Excel skills preferred
- Strong communication, planning, listening, and negotiation skills
- Ability to make sound commercial decisions under pressure using evidence and judgment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience specifically managing the MRO category
- Knowledge of SAP and Ariba
