Associate Business Development Director

Responsibilities

• Acquire, build, and cultivate long-term relationships with senior client leadership
• Lead large accounts through programmatic strategy and strategic up-selling
• Work cross-functionally with client services, trading, product, and marketing teams to optimize company-wide goals
• Communicate platform value through detailed product demonstrations to C-level clients
• Lead global account discussions with international counterparts
• Take the lead in responding to RFPs and new agency opportunities, including qualification and win strategy
• Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs
• Mentor and manage individuals within the organization who hold account responsibilities

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in online advertising (e.g., DSP, ad exchange, ad server, or SEM platforms)
• Existing relationships with key decision-makers in major advertising holding companies
• Fluency in both Japanese and English
• Strong quantitative and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to manage and utilize dashboards to drive business insights
• Experience establishing consultative client relationships and agency co-development projects
• Ability to travel occasionally for business and internal meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with a technical platform
• Experience in a visionary leadership role with a collaborative management approach
