Associate Business Development Director

Responsibilities

• Establish strategic partnerships and frameworks with key advertisers and agencies
• Acquire, build, and cultivate long-term relationships with senior leaders and C-level executives
• Communicate the value proposition of The Trade Desk media buying platform through tailored presentations
• Lead responses to RFPs and new client opportunities, including qualification and win strategies
• Prospect and negotiate new Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
• Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by translating client business needs into platform solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, account management, trading, and product to grow accounts
• Manage and communicate monthly sales forecasts and pipeline accuracy

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in digital advertising sales
• Proven experience managing senior-level relationships and C-suite stakeholders
• Deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem, including advertisers, publishers, and agency dynamics
• Strong knowledge of the programmatic advertising environment
• Experience creating annual business plans and conducting formal business reviews
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in both English and Cantonese
• Strong quantitative skills and a track record of exceeding revenue expectations

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in programmatic platform sales
• Ability to deconstruct complex technical topics for diverse audiences
