Associate Business Development Director

Responsibilities

• Acquire, build, and cultivate relationships with senior client leadership
• Work cross-functionally with client services and trading teams to cultivate accounts
• Communicate the value of the media buying platform through detailed product demonstrations
• Participate in product roadmap discussions with senior leadership, product, and engineering teams
• Lead responses to RFPs and new agency opportunities, including qualification and win strategy
• Lead global account discussions with international counterparts
• Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs
• Mentor and manage individuals within the organization who hold account responsibility

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in online advertising (e.g., publishing, ad networks, exchanges, DSPs, or SEM)
• Existing relationships with key decision-makers in major holding companies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with C-level clients
• Strong quantitative and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to independently manage and utilize dashboards to drive business insights
• Fluency in both Japanese and English
• Ability to travel occasionally for business and internal meetings

• Experience working directly with a technical platform
