About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform regional and global audit reviews to provide assurance on strategic and risk management objectives
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand and document key processes and risks within specific business units
  • Prepare process narratives, briefing memos, and evaluate process design and operational effectiveness
  • Investigate and escalate identified issues and validate their remediation
  • Identify emerging firm-wide and business risks through ongoing engagement with business management
  • Support annual risk assessments and contribute to global departmental projects
  • Travel to regional and international locations as required

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services and/or internal audit
  • Understanding of financial instruments and asset management processes and risks
  • Proficient understanding of current regulatory and industry events
  • Strong data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, CIA, or IMC
  • Interest in broad exposure to investment management, sales, trading, operations, risk management, finance, and compliance
