Associate Branch Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing service expectations, goal achievement, and daily branch operations.
• Lead, supervise, and train staff to ensure high levels of quality service and effective cross-selling of products.
• Manage employee lifecycle activities including recruiting, coaching, learning and development, and performance feedback.
• Maintain adequate operational controls for tasks such as cash counts, card issuance, and branch opening/closing procedures.
• Serve as a Membership Officer responsible for the review, verification, and approval of new accounts.
• Follow up on new and pending applications to ensure cross-sell opportunities are maximized.

Requirements

• High school graduate, two-year college degree, or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of work-related experience in a full-service financial institution or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and applicable regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Symitar for Windows (Episys).
• Notary certification or the ability to obtain certification within the first 12 months of employment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively across all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience as a manager or supervisor.
• At least two years of supervisory or lead employee experience.
