About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on various biomedical equipment
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe service environment
- Meet individual and departmental productivity goals
- Manage inventory processes and utility technician responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with vendors and customers to resolve issues
- Maintain compliance with all applicable standards, SOPs, and work instructions
- Learn and utilize biomedical systems such as OneTrack and device testing software
Requirements
- 0-1 years of related experience (entry-level)
- Strong decision-making, organizational, and time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing priorities
- Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Biomedical Associate's Degree or Healthcare Technology Management degree
- Biomedical-related military experience
- Vocational certification from an Accredited Certificate Program
- Experience in medical device repair or biomedical programming
