Associate Biomed Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and minor repairs on a wide variety of biomedical equipment
• Assist in troubleshooting and learning the operation of diverse medical devices
• Maintain an accurate database for service entries and reports
• Ensure the service area remains clean, orderly, and safe for all personnel
• Meet departmental production goals and participate in productivity improvement initiatives
• Mentor and assist other PM technicians when required

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in a technical role
• Technical background with basic knowledge of electronics, electricity, and electro-mechanical systems
• Familiarity with medical equipment used in hospital or homecare settings
• Ability to operate basic electronic test equipment
• Computer literacy with an understanding of database operations
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with personnel at all levels
