Associate Biomed Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and minor repairs on a wide variety of biomedical equipment
• Assist and mentor other PM technicians as required
• Identify personal training needs to support professional growth
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe service environment
• Ensure accurate database entry and reporting
• Meet departmental production goals and participate in productivity improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in a technical or biomedical field
• Bachelor's degree in an electronic field (preferably biomedical) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic troubleshooting abilities and knowledge of medical equipment
• Proficiency with computers and understanding of database operations
• Ability to operate basic electronic test equipment
• Foundational knowledge of electronics, electricity, electro-mechanical, fluidics, pneumatics, and hydraulic theories
