Associate Banker

Responsibilities

• Grow and retain profitable relationships within the Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries group, specifically focusing on the Healthcare Technology sector.
• Act as the focal point for client acquisition and ongoing relationship management with innovative companies.
• Build a strong brand within the market to represent the Healthcare Technology team as a leading middle market bank.
• Research prospects and participate in discovery sessions to identify necessary banking tools and strategic partnership opportunities.
• Champion a culture of innovation and customer-centricity while effectively managing credit, operational, and reputational risk.

Requirements

• 2+ years of related experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services.
• Excellent sales management and business development skills.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships.
• FINRA Series 79, 63, and Securities Exam Essentials licenses (or ability to obtain them within 180 days of hire).
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to establish credibility with senior partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training.
• Experience working with Capital Markets and Investment Banking products or services.
