Associate Banker

Responsibilities

• Grow and retain profitable relationships with innovative multinational companies, including Global Passport clients and high-growth businesses.
• Drive new client acquisition in collaboration with bankers, focusing on venture-backed startups and high-growth multinational companies.
• Deliver comprehensive banking solutions including credit facilities, treasury and cash management, international banking, FX hedging, and trade finance.
• Partner across J.P. Morgan lines of business, such as Investment Banking and Asset & Wealth Management, to serve the full lifecycle needs of clients.
• Manage credit underwriting, deal structuring, and documentation for clients with complex operating models and cross-border exposures.
• Stay current with industry trends to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and tailored cross-border solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of direct lending or credit support experience with a focus on business relationships.
• Strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services, including credit, treasury, and FX solutions.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to build credibility with senior business partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and formal credit training.
• Experience serving multinational corporations, early-stage high-growth companies, or innovation economy sectors (e.g., technology, life sciences, fintech).
• Demonstrated ability to source and close new relationships within venture-backed or cross-border client segments.
• Familiarity with cross-border banking solutions, including international cash management and multicurrency lending.
• Knowledge of venture capital, private equity, and innovation ecosystems.
