Associate Banker

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying financial needs and providing guidance on banking solutions.
• Act as a lobby leader, welcoming customers and guiding them through digital and self-serve banking options.
• Conduct needs-based conversations to recommend personal banking products, credit cards, and investment advice.
• Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow customer relationships.
• Support branch operational activities, including inventory management, customer applications, and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all risk, legal, and regulatory policies to safeguard customer assets and privacy.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a customer service or sales role.
• Experience in consultative customer service with a drive to deliver a personal experience.
• Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online banking applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Proven problem-solving aptitude and the ability to respond flexibly to new challenges.
• Ability to work a part-time schedule (30 hours per week) and potentially across multiple branches.
