Associate Banker

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers by identifying financial needs and providing guidance on banking solutions and digital tools.
• Act as a lobby leader, welcoming customers and offering advice on digital and self-serve banking options.
• Conduct needs-based conversations to recommend personal banking products, credit cards, and investment advice.
• Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow customer relationships.
• Support branch operational activities, including inventory management, customer applications, and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all risk, legal, and regulatory policies to safeguard customer assets and privacy.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
• Proficiency with digital tools, including smartphones, tablets, and online applications.
• Experience in consultative customer service or sales roles.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer needs and escalate issues as required.
• Ability to work a part-time schedule (20 hours per week) with flexible availability for various shifts.
