About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients at a new branch, providing friendly and accurate service
- Identify customer needs and provide advice regarding financial solutions and banking products
- Guide customers through digital and self-serve banking options to improve their experience
- Conduct meaningful conversations to recommend alternative banking channels and investment advice
- Support branch operations including inventory management, filing, and opening/closing activities
- Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow customer relationships
- Ensure compliance with all risk, legal, and regulatory policies to safeguard customer assets
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in banking, customer service, or a related field
- Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role
- Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online applications
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and the ability to respond flexibly to new challenges
- Ability to work a part-time schedule (20 hours per week) with flexible availability including Saturdays
