Associate Banker

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to customers by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions and digital banking options
• Act as a lobby leader to guide customers through the branch and recommend alternative digital or self-serve banking channels
• Conduct needs-based conversations to identify opportunities for personal banking, credit cards, and investment referrals
• Support branch operational activities including inventory management, customer applications, and opening/closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with all risk, legal, and regulatory policies to safeguard customer assets and privacy
• Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and achieve branch business objectives

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a customer service or sales role
• Experience in consultative customer service with a drive to deliver a personal experience
• Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online banking applications
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and the ability to respond flexibly to new challenges
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
