About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions.
  • Act as a lobby leader to welcome customers and guide them through digital and self-serve banking options.
  • Conduct needs-based conversations to recommend personal banking products, credit cards, and investment advice.
  • Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow customer relationships.
  • Support branch operational activities including inventory management, customer applications, and opening/closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all risk, legal, and regulatory policies to safeguard customer assets and privacy.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal banking products, market trends, and the regulatory environment.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role or a related field of study.
  • Experience in consultative sales or customer service roles with a focus on delivering personalized experiences.
  • Proficiency with digital tools, including smartphones, tablets, and online banking applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse customers.
  • Proven problem-solving aptitude and the ability to respond flexibly to new challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment.
