Associate Banker

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers by identifying financial needs and providing guidance on banking solutions
• Welcome and guide customers in the branch lobby, offering advice on digital and self-serve banking options
• Conduct client conversations to recommend alternative banking channels and provide personal banking advice
• Review customer profiles to identify opportunities for everyday banking plans and credit card needs
• Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities that grow customer relationships
• Support branch operational activities including inventory management, filing, and opening/closing procedures
• Follow risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets and maintain privacy

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in customer service or a related field
• Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role
• Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online applications
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and the ability to respond flexibly to new challenges
• Bilingualism in Spanish/English or Vietnamese/English is preferred
