Associate Banker

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying their financial needs and providing guidance on appropriate solutions.
• Act as a lobby leader, welcoming customers and guiding them through digital and self-serve banking options.
• Conduct needs-based conversations to recommend personal banking products, credit cards, and investment advice.
• Collaborate with branch partners to identify referral opportunities and grow customer relationships.
• Support branch operational activities, including inventory management, customer application follow-ups, and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all risk, legal, and regulatory policies to safeguard customer assets and privacy.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in customer service or a related field.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
• Experience in consultative sales or customer service roles.
• Proficiency with digital tools, including smartphones, tablets, and mobile banking applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Ability to work a part-time schedule (typically 20 hours per week) and flexibility to work at multiple branches if needed.
