Associate Banker

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing financial advice.
• Act as a lobby leader, welcoming customers and guiding them through digital and self-serve banking options.
• Conduct needs-based conversations to recommend personal banking, credit card, and investment solutions.
• Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow customer relationships.
• Support branch operational activities, including inventory management, filing, and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all risk, legal, and regulatory policies to safeguard customer assets and privacy.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a consultative customer service or sales role.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
• Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online banking applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include different shifts or multiple branch locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
