About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modifications and repairs
- Troubleshoot aircraft electrical and communication/navigation system malfunctions at organizational and depot maintenance levels
- Perform assembly, installation, and visual inspection of wire bundles and electrical assemblies
- Execute sealing, wrapping, bonding, and tying of wire harnesses in accordance with standard processes
- Use tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of electrical wiring
- Maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits required for assigned work
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience troubleshooting aircraft systems using schematics and wire diagrams
- 4+ years of experience with electrical/electronic theories and avionics systems
- 4+ years of experience working with assembly drawings and standard operating procedures
- 4+ years of experience with component and wire installation, including repairing and testing systems
- U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Ability to pass a training assessment and work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime

- FAA certification in Airframe and/or Power Plant
