About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist airline customers in resolving real-time technical problems by decoding, processing, and analyzing Flight Recorder & Data Systems.
- Provide technical, design, and informational support for production, product support, or in-service issues.
- Work with operators and engineers to recover Airplane on Ground (AOG) situations through remote troubleshooting or onsite support.
- Troubleshoot Flight Data Recorder problems following operational protocols.
- Publish technical documentation including Service Letters, drawings, specifications, and data sets.
- Participate in technical design reviews, tests, and audits to ensure compliance.
- Conduct root cause analysis with cross-functional teams to develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances.
- Assess complex system event reports to determine potential safety issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Willingness to work 2nd shift to support 24/7/365 operations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple team functions.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
- Ability to expand into new technical areas without prior experience.
