Associate, Audit & Control

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the SOX and Internal Controls process, including performing and documenting walkthroughs and testing.
• Execute work programs to test the operational effectiveness of key controls using sampling, observation, and performance methods.
• Summarize test results and communicate control deficiencies and remediation recommendations to process owners.
• Plan the scope of work and monitor progress on audit projects to ensure quality deliverables within defined time frames.
• Prepare and submit reports on SOX audit results, recommending improvements in policies, procedures, and operations.
• Support the Controllers department with ad hoc requests, presentation materials, and special projects.
• Collaborate with key functional groups such as IT, FP&A, and Accounting to demonstrate control effectiveness and manage process gaps.

Requirements

• CA Inter, MBA, B.Com, or M.Com degree.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in SOX Audit, Accounting, or Finance/Audit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and demonstrate strong interpersonal and adaptability skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to think across a broad spectrum of business processes.
