About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a docket of workers' compensation cases to resolution
- Prepare clients for and attend depositions; invoice depositions
- Respond to client inquiries requiring attorney negotiations and move matters toward resolution
- Be responsive to incoming emails and phone calls
- Provide direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
- Participate in team events and provide feedback to management
Requirements
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
- Must reside in the state of California
- Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctors' deposition experience
