Associate Attorney, Workers' Compensation

Responsibilities

• Manage a docket of workers' compensation cases from intake through resolution
• Prepare clients for depositions, attend depositions, and handle related invoicing
• Respond to client inquiries requiring attorney negotiations and advance matters toward resolution
• Provide direction and guidance to paralegals and support staff
• Participate in team events and contribute feedback to improve client service

Requirements

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
• Must reside in California
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable in fast-paced work environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Newly barred attorneys or February 2026 Bar candidates encouraged to apply
• Doctors' deposition experience preferred
