Associate Attorney – Transactional Real Estate

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial real estate transactions from start to finish
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial office leases, purchase and sale agreements, and ancillary contracts
• Conduct title review and resolve issues prior to closing
• Coordinate residential, condo, and co-op closings
• Provide practical, client-facing advice on transactional matters
• Collaborate with paralegals and team members to ensure deal outcomes

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice in New York or eligibility for admission
• 3–6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions within a law firm
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating leases and purchase and sale agreements
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with legal tech and real estate software

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting complex commercial real estate transactions
• Entrepreneurial spirit and appetite for learning
