About the role
Responsibilities
- Take a leadership role in high-impact environmental cases representing states, counties, cities, and non-profits
- Investigate and analyze legal claims and engage in all facets of discovery
- Interview fact witnesses and scientific experts
- Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Appear and argue in state and federal court
- Prepare for and participate in case trials
Requirements
- At least 2 years of litigation experience or judicial clerkship experience
- Strong analytical and legal research skills
- Exceptional writing skills
- Experience with the discovery process
- Ability to thrive in an accelerated, complex litigation environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Benefits
