Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

• Take a leadership role in high-impact environmental cases representing states, counties, cities, and non-profits
• Investigate and analyze legal claims and engage in all facets of discovery
• Interview fact witnesses and scientific experts
• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Appear and argue in state and federal court
• Prepare for and participate in case trials

Requirements

• At least 2 years of litigation experience or judicial clerkship experience
• Strong analytical and legal research skills
• Exceptional writing skills
• Experience with the discovery process
• Ability to thrive in an accelerated, complex litigation environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
