Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

• Manage first-party defense lawsuits for large national insurance carriers
• Handle all aspects of litigation related to assigned files, including residential and commercial property claims
• Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery
• Conduct depositions and engage in various facets of the litigation process
• Take proactive ownership of projects and assignments under the mentorship of senior team members

Requirements

• Current, active license to practice law in Texas
• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Experience with pleadings, motion practice, written discovery, and depositions
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines effectively
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
• Proven ability to produce top-quality work
