About the role

Responsibilities

  • Devise and maintain a Facilities Master Plan for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education across all locations.
  • Act as the primary liaison with University Capital Project Management, contractors, architects, and engineers to execute new construction and renovations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at various sites, including Dodge Fitness Center and Baker Athletics Complex, to ensure all facility needs are met.
  • Manage and track facilities budgets, including maintenance expenses and capital improvement needs.
  • Lead facility scheduling for varsity, club, and intramural sports, as well as physical education classes and external events.
  • Oversee vehicle management responsibilities, including scheduling, maintenance, and driver training.
  • Ensure compliance with NCAA, Ivy League, and University policies, including ADA standards and safety protocols.
  • Provide on-site leadership and operational support for high-volume athletics contests and departmental events.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of related experience in facilities or operations management.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Demonstrated record of successful planning, budgeting, and managing capital resources.
  • Valid US Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree.
  • Experience with capital planning and executing large-scale capital projects.
  • Successful experience in athletics administration at the NCAA Division I level.
