Associate Athletic Director for Business and Finance

Responsibilities

• Lead the Department of Athletics business strategy and operations, providing direction for financial planning and operational effectiveness.
• Oversee athletic department purchasing, travel, accounts payable, revenue/expense accounting, and contract management.
• Manage the annual athletics operating expense budget in coordination with the college Finance and Budget offices.
• Prepare annual EADA and NCAA financial reports and coordinate annual NCAA financial audits.
• Set strategy for business planning and process improvement to align athletics operations with institutional priorities.
• Serve as a sport administrator for select varsity programs, providing mentorship to coaching staffs.
• Collaborate with campus partners in Advancement, Human Resources, and Communications to support strategic initiatives.
• Promote the Catholic mission of the College and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in collegiate athletics, higher education administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business operations and strategic planning.
• Demonstrated skills in budget management and staff supervision.
• Strong knowledge of NCAA Division I philosophy.
• Ability to analyze operations and implement effective business strategies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across institutional departments.
