Associate Athletic Director - External and Corporate Relations

Responsibilities

• Lead the external unit of the athletic department, including communications, digital media, corporate partnerships, and ticket operations.
• Manage the in-house corporate partnership program by identifying, soliciting, and retaining sponsors, negotiating deals, and executing fulfillment agreements.
• Supervise department area heads and staff to coordinate strategies that maximize attendance, revenue, and publicity.
• Oversee the department’s ticket office, managing sales and operations for season, group, and single-game tickets.
• Coordinate content for the athletics department website, social media accounts, and other public-facing materials.
• Ensure compliance with all current NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments on marketing, promotional efforts, and community relations to increase fan support.
• Serve on the Athletic Director’s executive leadership team and participate in campus committees.

Requirements

• Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-10 years of related experience in athletic administration or external relations.
• Proven experience in corporate partnership management and sponsorship sales.
• Direct supervisory experience, including interviewing, training, and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of NCAA regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, including travel with sports teams as assigned.
• Demonstrated ability to uphold the University’s Christ-centered mission and values.

• Competitive annual compensation ranging from $135,000.00 to $165,000.00.
