Associate ATE Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test software solutions for complex instrumentation and calibration processes.
• Manage end-to-end development including requirement analysis, instrument characterization, and software automation.
• Perform hardware-software integration, system integration, and system testing.
• Interface with various hardware systems and troubleshoot measurement and test equipment.
• Produce comprehensive documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to execute projects and meet time-constrained requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Aerospace, or related field).
• Hands-on experience with NI LabVIEW, LabVIEW Real Time, and LabVIEW FPGA.
• Proficiency in Python, C, C#, or VB for instrument communication.
• Proven experience with hardware/software integration.
• Strong understanding of Hardware-in-loop (HiL) architecture.
• Knowledge of measurement and test equipment (electrical, electronic, thermal, etc.).
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as RS422, RS232, TCP/IP, Ethernet, or UDP.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across different time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience with avionics protocols such as A429, A664 (AFDX), or Arinc 653.
• Experience managing software code repositories and Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, or ISO 17025 quality management standards.
• Experience with automated test equipment in aerospace or avionics programs.
