Associate - Asset Backed Finance

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating high-quality asset backed opportunities and strategic partnerships
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative due diligence including collateral evaluation and financial statement analysis
• Build and maintain detailed underwriting models and perform scenario/sensitivity analyses
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and supporting materials for investment committee discussions
• Support end-to-end transaction execution including term sheets and negotiation of credit agreements
• Monitor existing portfolio investments and flag emerging risks to portfolio managers
• Perform industry and market research to inform investment strategy

Requirements

• 2-6 years of finance experience in asset backed lending, private equity, or structured finance
• Strong academic background in Finance or a STEM related field
• Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Exceptional communication skills for delivering investment risk assessments
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
