Associate AR

Responsibilities

• Initiate calls to request the status of claims within the queue
• Contact insurance companies to obtain explanations for denials and underpayments
• Take appropriate actions on claims to ensure timely resolution
• Document all actions taken in the claims billing summary notes
• Prioritize pending claims from the aging basket for follow-up
• Manage denials, rejections, and Letters of Authority (LOA) by making required claim corrections
• Adhere to international norms, confidentiality rules, and HIPAA compliance
• Protect the confidentiality and integrity of all information assets in accordance with security policies

Requirements

• Graduate degree
• 1+ years of experience in the US Healthcare Accounts Receivable (AR) stream
• Professional phone demeanor and excellent voice quality
• Strong analytical skills with an understanding of healthcare claims processing
• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate strong organizational skills for timely follow-up

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using the MS Office Suite
