Associate Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform and support Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Plans for product performance complaints
• Provide technical assessments and resources to support "must win" projects and programs
• Complete customer technical request testing and generate "customer ready" reports
• Maintain laboratory equipment and support the standardization of laboratory test methods
• Conduct regular calibration and safety checks on lab and application equipment
• Maintain detailed documentation of all laboratory activities in the application engineering database
• Write customer-facing reports for Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams
• Perform customer lab demonstrations and provide product training to Sales and Marketing personnel

Requirements

• BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred
• 1+ years of experience in a laboratory setting preferred
• Ability to lift 20 pounds and regularly use hand and foot shears to cut metal
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work as a self-starter with minimal supervision
