Associate Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and quote premium solutions for standard and customer-specific thermal applications
• Coordinate quotation and order entry activities with sales, engineering, and plant personnel
• Assist Sales Engineers by providing technical expertise to offer optimal thermal solutions for unique applications
• Determine material requirements and related costs by collaborating with engineering and purchasing departments
• Manage pricing and margin targets for key accounts and new opportunities
• Assist customers and representatives in troubleshooting common equipment or application problems
• Lead cross-functional meetings with production, project management, and finance to communicate accurate delivery dates
• Support and facilitate process improvement and strategic projects

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering (or equivalent technical experience)
• 1-5 years of related professional experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for verbal, written, and presentation formats
• Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
