Associate Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and quote premium solutions for standard and customer-specific thermal heat trace applications
• Coordinate quotation and order entry activities with sales, engineering, and plant personnel
• Assist sales engineers by providing expertise in offering optimal thermal solutions for unique applications
• Determine materials and cost requirements for product designs in collaboration with engineering and purchasing
• Manage pricing and margin targets for crucial accounts and new opportunities
• Assist customers and representatives in troubleshooting common problems with equipment or applications
• Lead cross-functional meetings with production, project management, and finance to communicate accurate delivery dates
• Support and facilitate process improvement and strategic projects

Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience
• Technical degree or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for various audiences
• Strong customer service and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
• Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam
