About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive the daily design process, including trend research, mood board creation, and sketching in Illustrator
- Manage multiple seasons and product lifecycles for the women's outerwear and non-apparel departments
- Select and develop fabrics and trims to ensure high-quality construction
- Research the global market to ensure products align with emerging trends and brand voice
- Present design lines to senior leadership, providing insights on style, fit, and trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring the brand's vision to life from concept to final garment approval
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in apparel design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator)
- Proficiency in PLM software
- Extensive knowledge of fabrics, fits, and construction methods
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of the design and production processes specifically for Outerwear and Non-Apparel
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to inspire and lead teams through ideas
