Associate Apparel Designer

Responsibilities

• Drive the daily design process, including trend research, mood board creation, and sketching in Illustrator
• Manage multiple seasons and product lifecycles for the women's outerwear and non-apparel departments
• Select and develop fabrics and trims to ensure high-quality construction
• Research the global market to ensure products align with emerging trends and brand voice
• Present design lines to senior leadership, providing insights on style, fit, and trends
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring the brand's vision to life from concept to final garment approval

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in apparel design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator)
• Proficiency in PLM software
• Extensive knowledge of fabrics, fits, and construction methods
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the design and production processes specifically for Outerwear and Non-Apparel
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to inspire and lead teams through ideas
