Associate - APAC Firmwide Chief Data Office

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end execution of data governance initiatives, including scope, planning, milestones, and deliverables.
• Build and maintain concise governance reporting covering metrics, risks, issues, and decisions for senior stakeholders.
• Identify, escalate, and coordinate the resolution of cross-functional risks and issues.
• Coordinate data-related workstreams such as privacy, data storage, and data controls to ensure alignment with Firmwide policies and APAC regulatory requirements.
• Lead and execute data office-owned deliverables required by local regulators, including evidence tracking.
• Promote a strong data culture across APAC CIB by building partnerships with Front Office, Technology, AI/ML, and Quant teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Technology, Data, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in data, finance, technology, risk, or governance roles within a leading financial institution.
• Proven expertise in project management, including planning, tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for various seniority levels.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel to produce clear, executive-ready materials.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across different functions and regions.
