Associate Analytical Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory analyses to provide critical manufacturing data
• Prepare samples and perform basic preventive maintenance on analytical systems
• Evaluate the validity of data for routine analyses and take appropriate action
• Monitor analytical systems and escalate technical problems as appropriate
• Document, communicate, and archive all analytical results and data
• Follow EH&S and operating discipline management system (ODMS) procedures
• Suggest improvements to laboratory work processes and tools

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to work a 2-2-3 swing shift rotation (12-hour shifts, rotating day/night every two weeks)
• Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain one
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary education coursework in chemistry or a related field
• 6 or more months of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment
