Associate Analyst, EMEA Private Capital

Responsibilities

• Provide research support to the EMEA Private Capital team covering venture capital and private equity
• Establish research frameworks to provide independent commentary and forecasts
• Utilize proprietary data, online sources, and academic papers to develop actionable analysis
• Write and edit research reports according to the publishing calendar
• Manage direct-to-client distribution channels for published notes
• Work with data analysis teams to support research using unique datasets
• Present and respond to inquiries from clients, press, and internal colleagues
• Develop relationships with industry professionals to support primary research

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in equity research or related financial services
• Knowledge of financial concepts like DCF, comps, and IRRs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interest in private equity and venture capital
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Authorized to work in the United Kingdom without visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics
• Experience writing long-form research
• Experience using the PitchBook Platform
