Associate, Alternatives Fund Accounting

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of Net Asset Value (NAV) and fund financial reporting across Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Credit, and Hedge Funds
• Review NAVs prepared by external fund administrators and analyze P&L and balance sheet movements
• Validate management and performance fees and assess valuation estimates
• Support fund lifecycle events including launches, capital calls, distributions, and liquidations
• Interpret fund governing documents and side letters
• Support audits, financial statement preparation, and regulatory filings
• Partner with investment, valuation, and operations teams to drive process automation and operational improvements

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• 5–9 years of professional experience
• Proven experience in fund accounting, audit, or asset management
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, financial, and communication skills
