Associate – Alternative Fund Services - Private Fund Services

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and review journal entries booked into Investran
• Prepare and review fund-level financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows
• Prepare and review investor capital calls and distribution notices
• Comprehend fund agreements to determine their impact on financial reporting
• Support the audit process and participate in special ad hoc projects
• Monitor and evaluate current processes and technology to drive operational efficiencies
• Proactively communicate and escalate issues to management in a timely manner

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, ICWA, CA, MBA, or CPA
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in private equity or hedge fund accounting
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software
• Ability to function in high-pressure situations and meet strict deadlines
• Strong analytical thinking with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of client service

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with various private equity legal and investment structures
• Familiarity with various waterfall models
• Experience using partnership accounting applications such as Investran
