Associate AI Financial Planning Analyst

Responsibilities

• Review, calibrate, and validate the quality of financial planning guidance generated by SoFi’s AI Coach chat tool
• Identify opportunities for and implement chatbot intelligence enhancements
• Recognize potential risks or inaccuracies in chat outputs and escalate to appropriate internal partners
• Contribute to solutions libraries used across multiple lines of business
• Determine keywords and phrases to enable software to recognize member intents
• Brainstorm value-added features and applications for available technology

Requirements

• 3+ years of client-facing experience within financial services
• Familiarity with financial federal regulatory guidelines
• FINRA Series 65 or equivalent, or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Strong analytical skills and hypothesis-driven problem-solving
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with product development, engineers, and business teams

Preferred Qualifications

• CFP or other financial designation
• Familiarity with LLMs, chatbots, or JIRA
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Statistics, or a quantitative field
