About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, implementation, and delivery of orientation and transition programs for new students
  • Provide advising and guidance to international students regarding cultural adjustment, employment, and student life
  • Deliver educational workshops and manage program logistics, including scheduling and participant tracking
  • Design and implement student surveys and assessment initiatives to evaluate learning outcomes
  • Manage student records, international program databases, and registration processes for exchange students
  • Respond to complex inquiries from students, faculty, and partner universities via email, telephone, and in-person
  • Collaborate with campus partners and external agencies to promote international student services

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
  • 1-2 years of related experience in student management or international education
  • Experience working directly with international students
  • Experience delivering workshops and programs to groups
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Overseas or exchange work/study experience
  • Knowledge of cross-cultural communication theories and student development
  • Proficiency in managing complex databases and office systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted team environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for professional correspondence
