About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, and delivery of orientation and transition programs for new students
- Provide advising and guidance to international students regarding cultural adjustment, employment, and student life
- Deliver educational workshops and manage program logistics, including scheduling and participant tracking
- Design and implement student surveys and assessment initiatives to evaluate learning outcomes
- Manage student records, international program databases, and registration processes for exchange students
- Respond to complex inquiries from students, faculty, and partner universities via email, telephone, and in-person
- Collaborate with campus partners and external agencies to promote international student services
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
- 1-2 years of related experience in student management or international education
- Experience working directly with international students
- Experience delivering workshops and programs to groups
- Strong interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
Preferred Qualifications
- Overseas or exchange work/study experience
- Knowledge of cross-cultural communication theories and student development
- Proficiency in managing complex databases and office systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted team environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills for professional correspondence
