Associate, Accounting - Global Games & Events

Responsibilities

• Assist with the end-to-end accounting cycle for Global Games & Events, including Football Operations, Club Business Development, and Player Development
• Prepare non-standard and data-sensitive journal entries
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses to resolve discrepancies
• Collaborate with the technical accounting team to prepare worksheets and support for journal entries
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal control procedures (GAAP/IFRS)
• Support the review and analysis of complex or unusual transactions
• Partner with Operational Finance to understand supplier contracts, account coding, and close variance explanations
• Collect and organize financial data to support internal reporting and audit readiness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in financial or operational accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and internal control requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or active CPA candidacy
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or similar enterprise systems
