Associate Accountant, General Accounting

Responsibilities

• Verify that processed transactions comply with company financial policies and procedures
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors
• Review vendor statements of account and respond to various inquiries
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of journal entries covering accruals for rendered services
• Support both ad hoc and scheduled audit requests
• Perform aging analysis for items not paid within the normal payment cycle
• Participate in and assist with process improvement activities within the group

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
• Highly knowledgeable in accounting standards and principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
• Professional oral and written communication skills
• Critical thinking and effective problem-solving skills
• Excellent team player with strong work ethics

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• SAP knowledge or experience
