Associate Accountant

Responsibilities

• Develop accounting expertise across accounts receivable, cash management, accounts payable, general ledger, and consolidation.
• Support the preparation, reconciliation, and review of accounting information to ensure accurate and timely transaction recording.
• Investigate outstanding items, perform analyses, and contribute ideas to improve day-to-day accounting processes.
• Contribute to month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and analytical reviews of key account movements.
• Prepare and report accounting transactions while ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial governance.
• Participate in transformation initiatives to modernize processes using digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with international colleagues across different countries and functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work accurately and organize priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or internship in accounting, finance, shared services, or digital process improvement.
• Interest in or experience with ERP systems, data tools, or digital finance solutions.
• Interest in automation and AI tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate.
