Associate Accountant Accounts Receivable

Responsibilities

• Manage daily customer invoicing based on purchase orders, shipping documentation, and contract terms
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve billing queries and discrepancies
• Review customer contracts to ensure billing and payment terms are accurately applied to every invoice
• Ensure compliance with local government invoicing requirements in collaboration with Sales and local accounting firms
• Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready Accounts Receivable records
• Support process documentation, escalations, and continuous improvements within the AR function
• Uphold SOX compliance standards across all assigned billing activities

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable billing, issue resolution, and cash collection
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with Oracle R12
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in global organizations
• Background in documenting and improving billing processes
• Familiarity with complex billing structures and SOX-controlled environments
• Experience collaborating with external accounting firms
• Knowledge of shipment-to-invoice reconciliation practices
